Freecell

Some of you have asked why I'm doing the Freecell thing.

I'm playing the basic 32000 game in Windows, in order. It's more or less just a time waster, but it makes me feel better than playing them randomly, because at least I know how many games I've won this way. I have a version of it loaded on my pda (Patience) that has the same game numbers as the Windows version, so I can now take it with me wherever I go. It's not as easy to play on the pda d/t the smaller screen, but it works.

I also like Minesweeper, but it doesn't have numbered games so I don't play it as much. Carl is a Minesweeping genius! He plays so fast...my eyes don't have time to register the moves in the time he takes to win an entire game. Amazing!

We also play a game called Break-Thru, which is from the same guy who wrote the original Tetris. Break-Thru isn't in production anymore, which is a real shame. Every now and then there's one up for sale on Ebay, which is how we got our copy. I played it when I was in college one summer, and I was addicted FAST. Now we've got my mom hooked on it too. There are some knock-offs to this game, but none are as cool as the original Break Thru.
