Yesterday turned out to be a lot more productive than I thought it would be.
I got a lot done out in the yard. Finally got the pile burned, although Carl just knew I was killing "spooky oak tree" in the process. Someone put the bonfire pit too close to it (before we moved in).
Otherwise, I redid the rockscaping out front, which I found out at lunch today, has already been "redone" by Alice. I finally unhooked the the little red bud tree from its supports, since they weren't really doing it any good. And I cleaned out the bluebird house out back, filled up the bird feeders and gave the squirrels some nuts.
Today at work is quiet. I'm hoping this lasts for awhile, it's very uncharacteristic of month end, but I'll take it.
My mom is closing on my gpa's house right now. Hopefully it all goes smoothly and this whole mess can be behind us soon.
We're getting our taxes done Friday. Woohoo! Will be good to get that over with, and then this weekend is the food expo out at the fairgrounds. And "hey alright you betcha" is having an auction Saturday, so it's all good :)
