Mid-week check-in. Still waiting on DCFS to call. At this point I don't know if we're licensed or not, or if our paperwork is sitting on someone's desk somewhere. I'm ok with this...we still don't have the crib put together!

Actually, it's difficult to plan for a child coming into your home when you don't know #1 boy or girl, #2 age or #3 size. I don't know if we need the crib to be set up as a crib, toddler bed or something bigger. I don't know if we need diapers or pullups, or what size of anything else. Do we need bottles or sippy cups? Let alone stuff like carseats, clothing, age appropriate toys? I'm still excited, tho...just planning on a huge shopping trip all in one day. LOL
So by now, some of you are bound to have heard me screaming about the Jane's Addiction reunion next week at the NME awards. Normally I'd feel obligated to scorn these awards as just stupid, but if they can get ma boys back together, I think I'll have to watch. Rumors are rampant about a possible Lolla appearance. I have doubts that they can all get along for 3.5 months. Hard as it is for me to say, I really hope they don't try to come out with any new stuff. I have a difficult time thinking that the magic is still really there. Maybe I'm just pessimistic. This is the greatest band of all time, after all. :) Anyway, please Perry, don't play against MGMT. I really want to see them.
