Soul Patrol! Soul Patrol! haha! I only saw the last 15 minutes of Idol last night, and that turned out to be 10 minutes too much. I could have done without Prince (even though I normally do like him, oddly). Anyway, happy to see that Taylor won, and am sure that Katherine has a career somewhere, in modeling if nothing else.
The Honda is at the garage today. The SRS light (something to do with the airbag system) has been on for a loooong time. Carl's reset it for me several times, but it keeps coming back on. And then over the weekend my check engine light came on. Fortunately I found 2 letters from Honda saying they would fix both things for free under an extended warranty, so it's all good (except for the part where I nearly had a heart attack after the check engine light came on while I was driving to my mom's!).
We did our Network class last night. Just one more week of it. My ministry passion is sewing for charity, which I guess I kind of already knew (and as most of you had already guessed!). I'm glad that it ended up being kind of obvious for me. Now I'm wondering how I can put it to use in a new way. I'm hoping that once I get through my knitting class this summer I can maybe start knitting for charity, too.
I got Albert moved to the hospital tank last night, but not without incident. He (of course) doesn't like being handled, and at one point he flopped onto the carpet in the family room. I got him scooped up and put back into the tank, but haven't seen him since. I'm pretty sure he's hiding under a piece of live rock. Well, I hope so, anyway. Poor fishy.
Still not sure what we're doing this weekend. We might hit an auction Saturday or we might skip it. I don't think they really have anything we need. I'd like to stay home and work in the flowerbeds out front, but we'll see. It's supposed to be very hot. Yesterday it hit 91 here. Bleh. I could do without that, easily.
Ok, time to fire up the laptop and pick up messages.
