Went to Ashland last night for the auction. More about that later...it was interesting. That guy's no $Darrell (but he was there).
Alice was really wound up this morning. She woke me up at 5:00, wanting to play. I finally threw her fart toy at her and she and Ralf chased each other around, which does not make for much sleeping.
I'm thinking that this weekend they're both going to get baths. We have to set Ralf up, so he thinks he's done something wrong in order to get him into the tub. Heehee! He definitely views bathtime as a punishment and no amount of positive reinforcement gets him in there. And of course, at well over 100 pounds, you can't actually pick him up easily and put him in the tub. He won't even get in of his own accord with bacon as a motivator.
We're going to Doyle's tonight. I don't think there's anything I'm particularly interested in, but you never really know until you get there. Last night's auction was certainly different. We left around 8pm, 2 hours into the auction (which started 15 minutes late at least, computer problems). I think I matched him, one freecell game for every item he sold. Very very slow, I think I talk faster on a regular basis than this guy does when he's selling. To me, an auction should be very fast, and somewhat hypnotic so that you're bidding, and a little confused about how much you're paying. Lots of lots (ha!) didn't sell at all, no interest. I did buy a table tripod for my Nikon for a dollar.
This morning I watched some "Crafters Coast to Coast" thing on HGTV when the dogs wouldn't settle down. This girl was making stuffed vegetables and meat out of felt. She put faces on them. I'm not sure why.
I have to apologize, I didn't check email yesterday at all, so if you sent me something important I'll see it this morning. 229 messages, you guys are busy! haha!
